Masala Chai

Instructions

  1. Add tea, ginger, peppercorns, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to the saucepan.

  2. Add 1 liter of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Add milk and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

  4. Bring back to a slow boil, boil for 10 minutes.

  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-meshed strainer into a serving dish.
